Nice articles in both and SBCS has two current articles on Baieido incense. Very interesting assessment on the Imagine line and especially Koh/Sawayaka. Very nice writing as well.

I may be able to answer one of the writers questions:

Actually, Koh/Sawayaka is not the only example of traditional incense in the Imagine series. "Sandalwood" is Byakudan Kobunboku which is regular Kobunboku with a little less spice and a lot more Sandalwood. Also, Green Tea has been used in Japanese restaurants and homes to absorb cooking and other odors for a long time.

Regular Kobunboku already comes in several small sizes. Baieido is focusing a little more on new products and those formerly only available in larger sizes.
